With over 60 full-time employees, Gilbert Associates is the second largest regional accounting firm in the Sacramento area. The Sacramento Business Journal recently named Gilbert one of the "100 Fastest Growing Businesses" in the city.  We are growing at a rate of 15-25% annually, and are constantly looking for qualified accounting professionals.

Our team's success comes from extensive training, and an encouraging environment of stimulating work. From day 1 forward, individuals receive personal attention. Each staff member receives a mentor and is enabled to progress in his or her personal career goals. We're pleased to offer our staff members the opportunity to try a variety of challenging, rewarding tasks, then pursue work in the areas that most interest them.

Our office environment is relaxed and friendly. We frequently refer to one another by nicknames, and are proud to defy the "stuffy accountant" stereotype. At monthly staff meetings we laugh together, play games, and take pictures of shareholders in wacky costumes and entertaining poses.  From water balloons at the summer picnic to dancing at the holiday party, we enjoy a combination of work and play. We also have fun volunteering together during Gilbert Associates' Community Service Day, and are proud of our staff's community involvement.
